What Is Tropical Storm Fiona?
As per many of the weather forecasters, the rain which was coming to the land and was seen getting heavier is a historic level of rain that is going to be huge. The winds and the Fiona are moving in the west-northwest direction at the speed of 13 kilometers per hour and might extend into barren d isolated areas. As soon as the announcements were made, people rushed to save their belongings and their lives. anxiety and rush were seen among the civilians. This is the time when Hurricane Maria occurred and it is just two days before the anniversary of Hurricane Maria a strong storm hit the island with strong wind and rain, and it led to the deaths of about 3000 people. That hurricane was destroying many houses and led to huge destruction. Keeping in mind the conditions, it is much better for the civilians to get alert at a high rate and are preparing as many houses in the suspected area have only blue tarps as their roofs. Nino Correa also said in his statement that the people who lived through hurricane Maria might have post-traumatic stress, and he also added that the hurricane caused a lot of loss and that they are still reverting from it. The roads were closed to avoid the loss, and it was added to some extent so that if there is any landslide then loss of life should not occur. One fact that also remains throughout the storm is powercut and blackouts, and it might be seen that the warning was given from now on that there might be power interruptions to some extent.
