Sadly, she died from her injuries two days later. Now Loyd has been found guilty of murdering an officer, and the state is asking for the death penalty. Markeith Loyd, the man who killed an Orlando police officer earlier this year, has been sentenced to death. Loyd was convicted of killing Master Sgt Debra Clayton in January by a jury in his second trial after a deadlocked first trial. Cpl.
