Tottenville High School Shooting Today
A shooting was reported at the Staten Island on the 25th of October 2022, Tuesday and it was been said that a teen was shot in his leg. Medics arrived at the place and the teen was immediately transferred to the hospital. Hopefully, there was no fatal injury to the teen but he suffered a major injury on his leg. There were multiple shell casings were discovered by the police as the police revealed that there were multiple shots being found at the place. Police have also revealed that the shooting has nothing to do with the public and now the area is safe as the shooting was targeted. Also, there was no threat to the locals.
A 14-Year-Old Teen Shot Dead Outside High School Shooting
New York Police department revealed that the shooting was targeted at another person who hid behind the car and escaped the place but the accused shot several shots which hit the teen instead. Although the name of the victim was not revealed, it was reported that he is just 14 years old. It was been reported that the teen was leaving the school around 2 pm when the shooters shot at their target and the teen as well got injured. There were five people who were supposed to be the shooter ad police are currently investigating the case. Police have said that there was a total of seven shots fired in the direction of the victim.
Who Is The Suspect?
The department of education released a statement in which they added that the High school was closed after shots were heard and the students were turned to their house after the police cleared the place although there was no threat. DOE also stated that the student’s safety is their topmost priority and they are looking forward to solving the case, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis said that they are aware of the shooting and that the NYPD, DOE ad the Tottenville High school as well are working together the solve the case. Michael McMahon, district attorney revealed that they are working closely on the case and they are highly looking forward to students’ privacy and safety.
